Libi Bamizrach
My Heart Is In the East

"Libi Bamizrach Va'anochi B'sof Ma'arav - My heart is in the East, but I am in the West". The words of this quote from a poem by Rabbi Yehudah Halevi are found within the buildings of the daytime skyline of Jerusalem and the night lights of New York City. The imagery represents the dreams of many Diaspora Jews to one day make their home in Israel.
