Wildflowers
This design is inspired by wildflowers that naturally grow in the Land of Israel. The symmetrical nature of this design represents the pasuk: “K'mayim hapanim lpanim, ken lev ha'adam l'adam — Just as one's face is reflected back when looking into water, so too one person's heart is reflected in another” (Mishlei 27:19).

Wellness
This botanical design is inspired by flowers and plants that represent health and wellness. This design is a blessing for a home or office to be filled with health and happiness for many years.

Gears
This design is inspired by the inner gears of a clock. This motif represents how one devotes his/her time and talents to family or to the greater community in so many different ways and enables things to work seamlessly together.

Compassion
Elderflowers symbolize compassion, freesias are a sign of thoughtfulness, and hydrangeas signify heartfelt gratitude for being understood. Lilacs and jasmine are symbols of family connections and unconditional love.

Te’amim
The circular design symbolizes an ongoing commitment to Torah learning and teaching. This design is comprised of a series of shapes of the te’amei hamikra (cantillation notes), indicating a love for reading the Torah. This design makes a great gift for a Bar Mitzvah teacher or any Torah teacher.

Bloom
This floral design symbolizes growth and renewal.

Shivat Haminim
The circular motif serves as a symbol of Life. The shivat haminim (seven fruits of Israel) symbolize the Land of Israel, as well as the cycle of a year in the Jewish calendar. Pomegranates are ripe at Rosh Hashana, barley is the omer offering brought on Pesach, which also serves as a sign of spring as it is the first grain to ripen. Shavuot is represented by the bikkurim that were brought on this holiday. Shavuot is the end of barley harvest and the beginning of the wheat harvest. Sukkot is represented by the arbah minim, borrowing the lulav from the palm of the sheva minim.

Home
Inspired by Avraham and Sarah’s model of hospitality, this papercut features a stylized tent that is open on all four sides to welcome guests from all over. Avraham welcomed his guests in the heat of the day. To symbolize this gracious hospitality, different flowers enter the tent from all four directions, based on the type of sun exposure they thrive in. Bush lilies, at the top, grow in Northern sun exposure, as do hydrangeas in the East, Shasta daisies in the south, and dahlias in the West. These flowers represent the midrash that each guest brings his/her own beauty into the tent. May your guests bring beauty into your home as they enter and share in your model of hospitality.
