What's the difference between a Custom and Semi-Custom papercut?

I have two ways for you to customize a piece of art to make it more meaningful and personal: fully custom designs or semi-custom papercuts. Whether you're giving a gift or gifting yourself a piece of original art, here's a breakdown of the difference so that you can know which is best for you.

Custom:

The design starts with a blank paper - a custom papercut is a completely original work of art created start-to-finish just for you. We brainstorm together about style, color and design elements you want to include. I then create a design drawing to review with you. Once I get your feedback on the drawing, I will create the final design for the papercut. Each custom papercut comes with a detailed description of the meaning behind the design.

Semi-custom:

I have several designs in my collection that have a blank space in the center for you to customize. The design is mostly done, but with elements for you to personalize. As an honoree gift, I can add a school or organization's logo. Or if this is a wedding gift, I can add the couple's monogram, initials, or wedding date.
